Meet Jean

 

Jean is my wonderful mother-in-law and the inspiration for the Picnic to Remember. Jean was diagnosed with advanced Alzheimer's a couple of years ago. While it has been a challenging time for our family, we are happy to report that she is in an excellent dementia-focused facility and has surpassed her doctor's expectations. We are fortunate that Jean is able to be with us often and still enjoy much of what life has to offer - reading, the outdoors, her great-grandsons' laughter, and quite a few Netflix RomComs! We hope you will say hi to Jean at this years' picnic.
